All those miles the Foo Fighters logged while recording their new Sonic Highways album were just the beginning. The band has announced an ambitious North American tour for 2015, set to begin in July with an Independence Day concert at RFK Stadium in Washington D.C. and continue through early October, when they close things out with a show in Memphis.
The schedule currently includes 29 shows in all, 28 of which will take place in different cities; the Foos will repeat only in Boston, where they’ll play a two-night stand July 18-19.
While the tour will keep the band on the road throughout much of July, August and September, it’s worth pointing out that there are a few gaps in the itinerary that could eventually be filled with additional shows — or allow Dave Grohl to jet off and start yet another side project.
Either way, Foo Fighters fans have a lot to look forward to next year. Check out the itinerary below.
