“Louder Harder Faster” is the title track of Warrant’s new studio album, which will be released on May 12 via Frontiers Music Srl.

With a lineup featuring original members Erik Turner (guitar), Jerry Dixon (bass), Joey Allen (guitar) and Steven Sweet (drums) along with singer Robert Mason, Warrant is now stronger than ever. Mason’s vocals remain a breath of fresh air and his swagger on the songs gives new life and a bright future to the band. Louder Harder Faster, true to the band’s roots, is full of rockers with some classic ballads thrown in and will surely send their faithful fans into a frenzy.

Turner says: “You can hear and feel the emotions of the last twenty-five-plus years of being in this band poured into Louder Harder Faster. The fun and the frustrations, the pleasure and the pain… a whole lot of blood, sweat, tears and beers went into the making of this album. Love it or hate it, it’s the real-fuckin’-deal, hundred-percent pure melodic hard rock handcrafted by five musicians who dedicated their lives to music when they were just little kids with big dreams.”

Dixon adds: “Louder Harder Faster is truly one of our best records to date. It has all the classic Warrant ingredients that people have come to know, plus a lot of extras that keep it in the modern realm of today’s music. It’s a perfect mix between balls and ballads.

“When we started this project over two years ago, we wanted to bring the listener back to the days of sitting in the living room and cranking up a record from start to finish.

“Making full records seems to be a lost art, [and] we hope in some small way that this album helps people find that art again.”

The Darkness have released the official music video for the song “Happiness.” The clip was created by Vitamin Pictures in Chicago, Illinois and was directed by Daniel DelPurgatorio.

Said The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins: “‘Happiness’ is about seeing only the golden sand and overlooking the broken glass. Hearing the waves crash and filtering out the grotesque cries of mating gulls. Smelling the distant odor of fresh chips and ignoring the stench of nearby dog shit. Happiness is a choice. Choose The Darkness.”

“Happiness” is taken from The Darkness’s latest album, Pinewood Smile, which came out on October 6. The disc finds The Darkness on electrifying form, delivering some of the most sharp-witted, infectious and downright brilliant songs of their career, and was greeted with rave reviews, including four stars in issues of Q, Planet Rock and Mojo magazines.

Liv Sin Releases ‘King Of The Damned’ Video

The track is a call to action for the public to do something about the extinction of the world’s wildlife.

Liv Sin, the new band led by former Sister Sin vocalist Liv “Sin” Jagrell, has released the official music video for a new song called “King Of The Damned.” The track is a call to action for the public to do something about the extinction of the world’s wildlife. The band has chosen to work with the Swedish animal rights organization Djurens Rätt during the single campaign.

“For me, this song is a call to action to everyone that we as humans will soon extinguish all of the world’s wildlife,” Liv says. “And we need to take action immediately otherwise there will be nothing left.

“I got the inspiration to the lyrics from Nick Brandt’s exhibition ‘Inherit The Dust’ (a photo exhibition where Brandt revisited places where he used to take pictures of the wildlife, and how its landscapes are now of garbage and people living in the garbage) and the shooting of Cecil The Lion. For me, both of those events are extremely depressing and not very flattering for mankind. Unfortunately, that’s the way we are heading if we do nothing.

“Remember Lion King? Well, soon there is not going to be any ‘King of the Jungle’ left, they will be ‘King of the Damned’ instead.

She continues: “I wish that everyone would take a minute to just think about it, about how we are treating our world.

“We chose to cooperate with a Swedish animal rights organization called Djurens Rätt on this song. All of the profits of this song from our Bandcamp site will go to them. You can also donate through PayPal at info@despotz.se.”

Liv Sin’s debut album, Follow Me, was released in April via the Swedish label Despotz Records.

Upon arrival of “The Doomed,” singer Maynard James Keenan said: “Fourteen years have passed since we released eMOTIVe. A new release is long overdue.
