On July 13, Kid Rock didn’t confirm his alleged run for U.S. Senate, but he did reveal some other big news: a new label deal, new music and an upcoming tour.
On Instagram, Rock shared that he has signed “a unique deal” with BMG, Broken Bow Records, CAA and Live Nation “to release music ON MY TERMS.”
“Like politicians write books during their campaigns, I’m planning on putting out music during mine, and IT ALL STARTS TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT,” Rock writes, both explaining his career plans and keeping the idea of a run for office alive. “It’s not a hoax, it’s a strategy and marketing 101!”
Rock says that he does not have plans for “an album or anything else that has been the usual norm in the music business OR politics.”
