Exclusive Interview: Jacky Joy
It’s every college student’s dream come true: Extending spring break from one week to two. Since Jacky Joy is a girl made of dreams, the spring break she went on last week carried over to this week, too.
Last week she was in Florida hosting for Guys Gone Wild, doing everything she could do to get the guys to shed their clothes and strut their stuff. She was beyond successful and the company kept her on another week, this time handing her over to the ladies for Girls Gone Wild.
They will be hitting Naples, Miami and Daytona Beach, searching for women looking to share their sweet, tanned flesh for a moment of fame.
“I like working with men and women,” Jacky said while selecting a bikini for the day. “I like seeing how wild the women can get. They’re going to have to really go for it to outdo the guys from last week!”
For those who can’t make it to Florida, they can always enjoy seeing Jacky in Jules Jordan Video’s new release, “Mandingo Massacre 3″ and in the April issue of Fox magazine, which is on stands now.
We caught up with Jacky in between all the Gone Wild madness to talk about her career, appearing on The Maury Povich Show and why camming is so important to her and her fans.
How are you? How have things been going?
Things have been quite busy. I was just in LA a couple of weeks ago shooting more scenes. I come home and rest and webcam and when I’m in LA I shoot a lot.
I’ve got to ask you about something that’s almost a thing of legend. I heard you got your start in adult entertainment on MySpace…
I was going to college. This is when MySpace was actually cool. This company just found me there. I didn’t have any sexy photos up. A company out of Philadelphia asked me to do a blowjob scene for a certain amount of money. I was like, “Sure!” Nothing went through my head. That’s how the whole thing started. I did couple of scenes for them and then I discovered this whole “porn world”.
Think how many guys have tried a stunt like that just hoping that it would work!
I know, right? (laughs)
Did you have any hesitations about doing that?
They were pretty clear about everything up front. I was nervous. It was my first time doing that and I went by myself! That doesn’t sound safe, does it? I just remember walking into the condo/studio they had. They gave me this list with all these names on it and told me to pick my stage name. I picked Joey originally. I have no clue why I picked it. In my first videos, if you ever see them, I’m smiling during it all and didn’t know what I was doing. (laughs) I wasn’t a hot porn star. I was very immature.
Tell me about your student life. What were you going to be before this whole porn star thing came into the picture?
I always had hopes and dreams of doing everything like most young people do. First I wanted to be a nurse. Then I wanted to be an anesthesiologist. Then I wanted to be a veterinarian. I went to Penn State for Business Administration and that’s what I graduated with. I continued my schooling while I was in the industry. Most people don’t because porn is great money but I wanted to finish school and get a degree under me.
Since you studied business I would imagine that taking charge of your porn career is like owning your own business, right?
Yeah. If you’re in adult – really in it – it’s a career. You have to sell yourself and you have to look a certain way to be successful. Obviously looks don’t last forever. You can’t be 80 and still be doing this! Well, there are genres for that but you won’t see me in that field!
You’ve really jumped up to the top of your game. You’re one of the hottest girls out there now. How far do you want to take your career?
I always use Lisa Ann as an example. I strive to be like her. She looks beautiful. She continues to succeed in the industry. That’s what I want to do. I’m already seven years into it. I want to go as far as I can.
I’ve talked with Lisa a few times and she takes a lot of interest in helping new girls make positive decisions when it comes to their career.
She’s very helpful. She’s helped me in a lot of ways. I can always go to her. When I first started in the industry there was nobody to talk to. When you first start you do what you think you can do. It would be nice if there was a book you could give a newbie porn star with suggestions on how they could be successful and point them in the right direction.
You should write one! It would also appeal to people outside of the industry who are curious how things work.
I’ve thought about it! I had a friend tell me it would be a good idea to write a book but – what porn star can read? (laughs) That was low! I think a lot of guys would want to know how to get into the industry. Every day on Facebook and Twitter guys say how big their cock is and they’re ready to be the next porn star. I feel bad because I don’t want to be Debbie Downer. It’s almost impossible for guys to get into the industry because they already have the guys they need. There is so much pressure – cumming on time, getting hard quick, shooting more than one scene. These guys don’t really understand.
One of Julia Ann’s posts the other day said something like “If you’re a guy with a good paying job, DON’T get into porn.”
That’s another good point.
It’s just easier for a girl…
New girls come into the industry all the time. It’s so easy. Obviously you don’t have to get hard or cum on point. You can even fake cumming if you want to! We have it good! (laughs)
Like we mentioned earlier, you’re definitely staying busy. I’ve got to ask you about the episode of Maury Povich you were on in January.
We actually shot that right before Christmas. It’s funny. That episode was “Geek To Chic”. They called and my agency told them they had a perfect girl who used to look like a total nerd in high school. They called me. Yes, I was. Thank you. Thank you for inquiring me. (laughs) I went on Facebook and asked my friends if they had any pictures of me from high school. I was blown up with a ton of pictures. I couldn’t believe I was doing this! It was fun. I brought a bully – or someone who used to make fun of me in 9th grade. I used to think he was hot. That was real. Some of those shows can be fake. They also had some of the audience on the stage as well. An audience in front of you, an audience behind you. I had a lot of fun. I loved it.
At least it wasn’t one of those “Who’s The Father?” episodes!
It’s funny because they shoot more than one episode a day. They were shooting one of those episodes, too. One of the girls came up to me and said, “Oh my god, you are so beautiful.” I told her thanks and as she walked away she said, “Make sure you never have kids!” I knew she had to be on that “Who’s Your Daddy” episode. You could definitely tell a difference in who was on which show! (laughs)
Anybody that knows anything about you – especially your fans – knows how much you love camming. How does camming fit into your career?
Camming is the easiest thing you could possibly do. How awesome is it to sit at home and masturbate all day?! (laughs)
I have no idea what you’re talking about…
It’s the greatest thing! I’m surprised every girl hasn’t quit their job to do it! The fans love it because they get to see me in real time. Some girls play a video when they log in for their show but I don’t do that. I love to do crazy stuff, blowjobs, shower scenes. I’ll stream my shoots as well so people can see what I’m doing and also enjoy it as well.
And you cam almost every day so there is no excuse to miss one of your shows.
I know! I cam certain times and I can’t be on all day but I also Skype shows as well if you want. Just shoot me an email and we set up a time and date and you get one on one time with me.
Jacky, I appreciate you taking time out for this. You’ve been on our radar for a while – you’ve always got something going on so it’s great to catch up with you. What would you like to say to your fans to wrap things up?
I appreciate being on Rock Confidential. I love being able to talk about my fans and letting them know what I do. You can find me on twitter.com/JackyJoy. I answer everything. I answer every tweet. Any time the fans interact I’m always there. I’m also working on my site that will be launched in a couple of months. It’s JackyJoyXXX.com.
