Influenced by 70s and early 80s rock, The Dead Daisies sound is soulful and accessible – equal parts of The Faces, Bad Company and Foreigner: muscular vocals, bluesy riffs, big choruses, powerful melodies and strong hooks.

“There are lots of very good reasons why this kind of rock n’ roll has never gone out of fashion,” band members David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink), John Corabi (Motley Crue, Ratt), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) agree. “Our songs are simply timeless, immortal, classic! That’s why working with The Dead Daisies is so much fun, and that’s why the reaction is always phenomenal, no matter when and where this band turns up.”

Rock Confidential spent a few minutes with Corabi as the band trekked through their European tour:

2016 has been a pivotal year for The Dead Daisies, not only with the release of a new album Make Some Noise, but the debut both in the studio and live for Doug Aldrich. On transferring the power of that album onto a live stage has also proved to be no problem for the band. They kicked off their 2016 live appearances performing as a special guest at Musikmesse Frankfurt with performances on the Center Stage, then followed that up with a guest slot to the Hollywood Vampires featuring Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Johnny Depp in Germany. European festivals and club dates followed including sold out shows across the UK and Germany. August through September will not only see the band join up with old friends KISS on their “Freedom To Rock” tour, but it will see the band finally headline US shows at the Whisky-A-Go-Go in LA and the Webster Hall in New York.

For the first time since the bands inception, The Dead Daisies travel to Japan where they will make an appearance at LoudPark Festival in October. After spending time at sea on the KISS Kruise VI, the band cross the Atlantic to the winter conditions of Scotland where they start an extensive tour of the UK and Europe with joint headliners The Answer, all of which will fill up the bands 2016 calendar until the end of December.
