Get ready to rock around the Christmas tree with AXS TV this December, as the network presents a day of heavy hits in the Merry Metal-Thon on Sunday, December 18. The event begins at 2PM EST, with Jason Becker: Not Dead Yet, the incredible true story of Jason Becker — a guitar virtuoso who, at the age of 19, was diagnosed with ALS and told he would never play again. Six years later, despite having lost the ability to move or speak, Becker released the first of two full-length albums. This uplifting doc takes viewers inside Becker’s inspirational journey, as he continues to defy the odds for the Art he loves. And then, relive some of the most epic moments from one of the country’s top music festivals in the exclusive highlight special Best Of Rock On The Range 2015, at 3:45 PM EST.

The rock block continues at 5:50 PM EST, as one of Metal’s most influential acts prepares to say goodbye in Motley Crue: The End, an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the band’s final show on New Year’s Eve 2015 in their hometown of Los Angeles, as they blaze through beloved hits such as “Kickstart My Heart,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” and “Dr. Feelgood,” before ending the night with an emotional rendition of “Home Sweet Home.” Then, get the inside scoop on the Golden Age of heavy metal, as genre heroes Lars Ulrich, Stephen Pearcy, Don Dokken, Chris Holmes, and more, recall the birth of the seminal L.A. metal scene in the premiere of Inside Metal: Pioneers Of L.A. Hard Rock And Metal, featuring exclusive wraparound content hosted by Eddie Trunk, at 7:55 PM EST.

The block is headlined by a very special premiere presentation of Motorhead – Clean Your Clock at 9:30 PM EST, in honor of legendary frontman Lemmy Kilmister, who passed away on December 28, 2015, due to complications from prostate cancer. The concert film captures what would become the band’s final two shows before Lemmy’s death one month later, as they take the stage in Munich to unleash signature hits such as “Bomber,” “Ace Of Spades,” “Overkill,” and many more, during their landmark 40th Anniversary tour. Although dealing with the severe effects of his illness, Lemmy powers through this career-spanning set, putting his charm on full display as he playfully banters with the crowd and goes out on a high note as only he can. This is truly a must-see event that Motörhead’s loyal legion of fans won’t want to miss.
